When Bridie Cutifani moved to Wollongong in 2010 she met fitness guru Angela Saville. The two became firm friends and went on to open two health clubs and a boutique cycle and yoga studio, Blue Athletica.
Bridie then met Katrina McIndoe when modelling for her fashion label, and soon the three combined forces to develop comfortable, stylish and unique activewear label Blue Athletica.
We chat with Bridie Cutifani:
What are your top tips for staying fit while travelling?
What can you not travel without and why?
My running shoes, running watch and at least a few sets of Blue Athletica tights, crops and tees. I love to remain active whilst I travel so these items are essential.
What are your holiday indulgences?
Can’t go past a visit to the day spa to indulge and unwind with a relaxing massage and facial.
Imagine you're going away for a week. What are your go to outfits?
I always pack plenty of Blue Athletica gear as I can wear them to workout, swim or as casual day wear. I like to throw on one of our muscle tanks with my jeans or our wet look ankle biters for a great casual look.
What are your favourite domestic and international travel destinations?
Domestic - I love going to anywhere in QLD as I love the weather and beaches. I go to Noosa and Hamilton Island quite a bit as they have everything I love - beaches, amazing walking trails, good food & shopping.
International - Definitely somewhere tropical and relaxing such as the Maldives or Bahamas. I also love going to LA as it has the latest fitness trends and studios to try out.
If you could pick anyone in the world to go on holiday with you who would it be (assuming your friends and family were already coming)?
Richard Branson – I’m sure he could teach me a thing or two and I would love to visit his island!
