It’s the first permanent Elvis exhibition displaying hundreds of artefacts never before seen outside of Graceland. And it’s in Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
On my last trip to Vegas, Elvis was marrying a couple underneath the Vegas sign. The time before that, he was chowing down at the Bellagio’s breakfast buffet. Now, ‘ELVIS: The Exhibition, The Show, The Experience’ is on at the site where Elvis performed hundreds of shows in the 1970s (Westgate used to be the International Hotel).
On display will be a 1957 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, jumpsuits The King wore on stage, high school yearbooks and much more, while the Elvis Experience will bring actor Martin Fontaine and more than 20 musicians to the stage to re-create one of Elvis' sold-out concerts from the 1970s, the LA Times reported.
And just when you thought there couldn’t be more Elvis, the Westgate also features an Elvis Presley Graceland Wedding Chapel where you can tie the knot with the US$350 Love Me Tender Wedding Package.
‘ELVIS: The Exhibition’ opens daily at 10AM with tours beginning every 1/2 hour. The last admittance of the day is 9PM. Tickets cost US$22.
Ticket pricing and availablility to the Elvis Experience depend on seating.
