Travel site TripAdvisor is set to open its first bricks and mortar store in North Carolina's Raleigh-Durham International Airport in 2018.
The store is slated to open as part of the airport's Terminal 2 overhaul, The News & Observer reported.
While TripAdvisor has yet to reveal what exactly will be available in the store, it has been reported that fliers will likely have access to touch screens and an interactive wall through which they explore and possibly book potential holidays.
Travel essentials such as souvenirs and snacks will also be available.
“We’re really excited to have something truly new come into the program,” airport business development director Ingrid Hairston said.
The move into the physical world may be a part of the company's mission to promote itself as more than just a review site.
