The first group led by Wendy Wu Tours since the pandemic included a selection of the most popular experiences in three cities.

The advisors enjoyed some traditional Chinese customs in Xi'an.

Wendy Wu Tours has hosted its first Australian travel industry famil to China in three years, whisking a lucky group of advisors to explore the highlights of three cities.

Over eight days, advisors enjoyed some of the major highlights enjoyed by travellers embarking on Wendy Wu Tours’ flagship itineraries in China, hosted by WWT State Account Manager for VIC/TAS, Christine Yatridis.

These included a pulse-racing 301kph one-hour Maglev train journey in Shanghai, a bullet train arrival into Beijing and a visit to the Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an.

Other highlights included a visit to part of the Great Wall of China, a traditional Peking Duck dinner and a cruise on the Huangpu River to see Shanghai awash in a sea of glittering lights.

Advisors also enjoyed plenty of free time to explore at their own leisure, with the Pudong Financial District and the Bund Riverfront proving popular.
