September saw 28 agents from across Australia discover three unique parts of the world with Club Med, from the vibrant lights and nights in Phuket to the culture of Okinawa, home to the longest living people.
Here is a snapshot of their adventures, discovering the beauty of three exceptional summer destinations, the sense of freedom that comes with having all the fun included in the price, and the relaxed vibe of the Club Med spirit.
Aussie Agents Jet-set to Phuket
Club Med and Jetstar Airlines incentive winners took off to the playground of Club Med Phuket with Club Med Business Development Executive Neryl Chambers and Jetstar Group Sales & Industry Engagement, Melinda Easton Kuhl.
The ten agents spent their six days soaking in the sun by the adults only pool, exploring Patong Beach and mimicking the monkeys on the flying trapeze.
Tara Zydemans from Helloworld Shellharbour says, “there is more to Thailand then the craziness of Phuket’s Patong Beach area. Just 20 minutes south of Patong Beach you will find the much quieter and more relaxed area of Kata. Things move a little more slowly here. Club Med Phuket is a welcomed relief, a traditional Thai resort set on beautiful landscaped grounds with direct beach access. Quality time guaranteed for couples and families. Sun, Swim, Sip, Eat, Play REPEAT”.
They were also treated to a business class upgrade one way from Jetstar.
Victorian and Tasmanian Flighties learn the secrets of longevity in Kabira
Ten Flight Centre agents from Victoria and Tasmania spent five days exploring the wonders of Japan, starting with the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and ending with the contrast of the peace and tranquility of Club Med Kabira Beach, Okinawa.
The educational famil, hosted by Club Med Business Development Manager Adam Ferraro, and Japan Airlines Sales Executive Matthew Sammut, saw the group embarking on an underwater discovery of Kabira’s protected marine park and enjoying delicious sushi, sashimi and exotic Asian dishes.
When asked about Kabira, Pete Buckland from Flight Centre Hampton says, “This was an incredible experience to visit this beautiful Japanese island. The resort was in a stunning location and had everything on offer that you could possibly wish to do. What made the resort so special were how friendly the staff were and how they would go out of their way to help. This trip certainly opened my eyes to how stunning Japan is as a destination and how great Club Med resorts are.”
"Such a unique place in the world and experience all the benefits of Club Med - I haven't been able to stop talking about my trip since I have been," says Sophie Baldock, Flight Centre Bendigo.
Western Australian Agents Slow things down in Mauritius
Air Mauritius sponsored a special famil with Club Med for eight Flight Centre consultants from Western Australia to experience the culture and colour of the newly renovated Club Med La Pointe aux Canonniers and the luxurious Club Med la Plantation d’Albion resort.
“Many of the agents raved about the staff and how much fun learning acrobatics on the flying trapeze and the aqua fitness classes were. The unique Mauritian food and flavour was also a big hit with the agents,” says Club Med Business Development Manager, Erin Smith.
“I loved the food, the staff and the activities: says Tamara Mackintosh from Flight Centre Cottesloe
When describing his favourite aspects of the trip, Chris Tan from Flight Centre Maddington says, “Really getting to know and understand the product. Learning about how the staff interact with guests to create this amazing community in each property. The meals were the best!”
