NTIA 2022 nominations NOW OPEN

In recognition of the current workload and the craziness of the past year, the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA) has modified the nomination process to allow for video as well as written submissions. To accommodate the widespread desire to celebrate being face to face at the event, the number of awards has also been reduced by a third.

“NTIA 2022 is going to be a little different from our traditional NTIA celebrations in recognition of the very different circumstances we are all in,” AFTA CEO Dean Long said.

“It’s our time to get together in the same room and celebrate the fact that we are still standing and we are more determined than ever to elevate the role of travel professionals and those who support us."

“It’s going to be a great night and the importance of us all joining in celebration of the innovation, determination and resilience of our people and our sector has never been more important.”

The highly anticipated return of NTIA will be held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on 15 October with Singapore Airlines as the major sponsor.

“In a sure sign that life is returning to normal, the calls to the AFTA office about when nominations will open have been off the chart so we are thrilled to finally release the details,” Long said.

Nominations for the Most Outstanding (judged) categories can be via a video or a written submission with an Independent Reviewer shortlisting the finalists.
