Travel Counsellors enjoy family day in Newcastle

Twenty-five Travel Counsellors, head office staff and their family members recently came together to spend the day at Blackbutt Reserve in Newcastle for the last Travel Counsellors Family Day of 2017.  Face painting, balloon animals, wildlife shows and the all Aussie sausage sizzle were big hits, but the sense of family that resonated throughout the day was the biggest win.

Newcastle Travel Counsellor, Danielle Cutrupi was able to bring along her father, her husband and her two children, “It was so special to be able to introduce my family, all 3 generations, to the head office support staff I work with every day to run my business.  It’s so heart-warming to be a part of a company that truly embraces family, it makes me so proud to be a Travel Counsellor and I’ve had such a lovely day catching up with everyone”.

Travel Counsellors has hosted similar events in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia throughout the year and due to their resounding success will once again host events around the country in 2018.

Australian MD Fred van Eijk commented “It’s so important to provide our agents and their families the opportunity to spend time with head office staff outside of traditional conferences and work interactions, and vice versa. Travel Counsellors is such family based business and I think the smiles and laughs shared today demonstrate that perfectly – we’re all on big international family.  We can’t wait to do it all again next year”.
