You’re invited to Viking Expeditions’ agent info sessions

[UPDATE: 12 March 2020]

Viking's May sessions have been postponed. New dates will be advised shortly. March dates are going ahead as planned.

Viking has announced a selection of dedicated travel agent-only information sessions showcasing the brand new Viking Expeditions product, designed to provide travel partners with the information and tools they need to sell voyages to the ends of the earth when Viking Octantis and Viking Polaris launch in 2022.

Plus, agents will have the chance to check out the brand new 2021-2023 Viking Expeditions brochure, available to order from TIFS today.

Offering light refreshments including canapes, wine and beer, Viking’s agent-only expedition Information Sessions will be held in the following locations:

  • Brisbane: 6:30pm, Tuesday 17 March 2020, Howard Smith Wharves, The Rivershed
  • Sydney: 6:30pm, Tuesday 24 March 2020, Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park
  • Melbourne: 6:30pm, Thursday 26 March 2020, Hotel Windsor
  • Perth: 6:30pm, Wednesday 6 May 2020, Beaumonde on the Point
  • Hobart: 6:30pm, Thursday 14 May 2020, Henry Jones Art Hotel
  • Newcastle: 6:30pm, Wednesday 20 May 2020, NEX
  • Canberra: 6:30pm, Tuesday 26 May 2020, Hotel Realm

“As the travel industry weathers challenging conditions, it pays for agents to educate themselves. Our dedicated agent Information Sessions will give our travel partners the information and the tools they need to bolster their business. We can’t wait to showcase everything about our stunning new Expedition ships, complete with two complimentary subs, and the fabulous destinations they will visit,” said Keira Smith, Viking’s National Sales Manager ANZ.

In January, Viking announced it would expand its destination-focused travel experiences with the launch of new expedition voyages sailing from 2022 to Antarctica, the Arctic and North America’s Great Lakes. Guests will recognise the distinctly Viking experience from the moment they set foot on board the two Polar-Class 6 ships. Customised to navigate the planet’s most remote environments, Viking Octantis and Viking Polaris will offer the same comfort as Viking’s ocean and river ships.

Australian travellers can plan with peace of mind knowing that Viking provides unprecedented flexibility and the freedom to change their cruise up to 24 hours before departure. Viking’s temporary exception to its cancellation policy means guests are free to postpone their cruise without incurring any cancellation fees, when booked before 30 April 2020. Should guests choose to postpone their voyage, they will be issued with a Future Cruise Voucher to the full value of the fare paid, valid for 24 months from the date of issuance.
