FRESH FACES: TravelManagers’ Sally McCallum

What’s the simple but sage advice TravelManagers’ new Canberra-based Business Partnership Manager SALLY MCCALLUM gives when it comes to travelling?

Where is the last place you visited?

Singapore. I can highly recommend Gardens by the Bay. If you have children bring bathers as there is a great water play area and playground.

Singapore Zoo is also a fantastic day out and we found a great waterpark only locals go to called Wild, Wild Wet.

Of course, all of the activities on Sentosa Island are wonderful and Little India and Little Arabia are a must.

Where are you going to next?

Bali for some fun in the sun and Europe for a cultural experience!

Besides your passport, what’s one thing you always take on your travels with you?

Travel adapters – there’s nothing worse than your hair dryer not working!

Why did you join TravelManagers?

I joined because I wanted to work for a company that had true values and genuinely cared about everyone in their network.

I had only heard the most positive feedback and wanted to be a part of it.

Tell us something people might not know about TravelManagers?

People may not realise how supportive and caring the company is.

TravelManagers’ sole activity is to provide an efficient abode together with all the support tools and systems essential for qualified and experienced home-based travel professionals to perform competently and expertly.

They achieve this without hierarchy and everybody is working towards a common goal.

What’s your top travel tip?

To live in the moment and enjoy every moment - that’s what creates the memories.
