Karma comes to travel agency thieves

Thieves caught out… by wind.

In a story that would bring a smile to any travel agency - or retailer for that matter - who has experienced theft, two thieves were filmed losing their loot after allegedly robbing a travel agency in the UK.

In the video, two men can be seen trying to escape down a street in Manchester, before a gust of wind started blowing their haul out of one of the man’s trousers – in which the cash was stuffed – and onto the road.

The thief then lost more money out of his pants whilst trying to grab back some of the stolen money.

According to the ABC, Greater Manchester Police described the men as “hapless robbers”.

"They took every step to secure the money in the shop, but left the stolen notes in their wake as they fled from the scene," said Detective Constable Phil Scargill.

"I'd urge anyone who saw the two men, or caught sight of them dropping notes as they ran from the travel agents, to please get in touch with police and share what you know."

Police said the men eventually escaped in a getaway car, and did not divulge how much money the pair stole from the agency, or how much was left on the street.
