Island hopping

Sail through the breath-taking limestone karsts and around James Bond Island in Phang Nga Bay and further afield to the famed Surin and Similan Islands, which boast clear turquoise waters. Snorkel, dive and island hop during the day, then stay for overnight mooring with an onboard chef and crew, choosing from Major Affair, the 90 foot Sunseeker super-yacht or Siam Seas, the smaller speedboat.

Journey across the bridge of love

The Sarasin Bridge connects Phuket with mainland Thailand and holds symbolic meaning for lovers, as an old story goes, a college student once fell in love with a bus driver over many journey’s across the Sarasin Bridge. Their love was strongly disputed by their parents, and in desperation they bound themselves together and jumped off the bridge so that nobody could ever separate them. As the story goes, when their bodies were found, they were still entwined. It is believed that lovers can make a lasting wish together while crossing the bridge.

Walking markets in Sino-Portugese inspired streets

For couples that love a bit more buzz, get whisked away by a limousine to the bustling walking street market in the heart of Phuket Old Town, on every Sunday evening. Discover local food and artisanal creations, all set against striking Sino-Portuguese architecture.

Take an ‘elfie at Phuket Elephant Sanctuary

Walk with these magnificent giants and observe them as they roam throughout the sanctuary, socialise and bathe naturally in the fresh water lagoons and apply their own sun cream – lovely thick mud.

Dining by Design

Guests Anantara Resorts can have a bespoke dining experience that allows them to create a menu of their favourite dishes, with their own chef and a personal butler set in their own chosen location. Nothing says romance like a tailored evening created for your special somebody.
