The BBQ season is almost at an end, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy some homemade BBQ sauce Oklahoma style.
This one is from Lee Clayton Roper. Striking the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, this delicious BBQ sauce is ideal for all meat (and veggies), but is particularly popular with ribs, beef, chicken and ham.
In a large saucepan, stir together the tomato juice, onion, garlic powder and celery seed. Bring to a boil, reduce to medium and boil for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add butter, stirring until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients.
