A skiing holiday can be all kinds of romantic. Except if you’re this poor woman who fractured her wrist and then had her hand swell so much she needed to have her wedding and engagement rings cut off.
WITH THIS RING, I THEE FLUSH
Another woman made a claim after a family cruise left her without her engagement ring. After taking her ring off to have a shower, her mischievous son picked up her engagement ring and danced around with it on his finger. Panicking about getting into LOTS of trouble, he flushed the toilet to hide the evidence...and the engagement ring was never to be seen again.

Reason for claim: abandoned heart. Poor fella.
