Australian and New Zealand agents wanting to know the latest insights and innovations fuelling the booming local cruise industry can attend a new cruise event hosted by Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia in Sydney or Auckland this autumn.
Dubbed CLIA LIVE, the event has had success in Europe and is being brought down under by CLIA Australasia to offer CLIA accredited agents in the region the chance to get the latest from local and international cruise operators all under the one roof.
Over two days in Sydney and one day in Auckland, dozens of cruise industry representatives from ocean and river cruise lines will provide short presentations on their brands’ unique selling points.
CLIA Australasia & Asia Managing Director Joel Katz said CLIA LIVE would be a great opportunity for agents to gain valuable insight into the major players in our industry.
“Our new CLIA LIVE events have been designed to keep Australian and Kiwi cruise agents ‘in the know’ with everything that is happening in the industry. Informative presentations from cruise lines and CLIA will ensure our member agents are equipped with the very latest know-how so they will have a valuable edge when it comes to selling cruise and can capitalise on the cruise boom,” Mr Katz said.
“With such a great line up of presenters and only limited capacity, we encourage agents to register quickly to be part of these exclusive insider’s events.”
The Sydney event will be held on Wednesday April 18 and Thursday April 19 at Intercontinental Hotel Sydney. Tickets cost AU$50 per day, registrations close April 4.
The Auckland event will be held on Tuesday May 22 at Grand Millennium Hotel Auckland. Tickets cost NZ$50, registrations close May 7.
CLIA members will earn 30 CLIA points for attending.
