Resurgence in classic grand ocean voyages: CMV

Cruise & Maritime Voyages launches round-the-world voyages for 2021

Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) has launched its wide range of Grand Voyages for 2021 and its 2021 World Cruise, alongside a host of other ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ voyages.

Australians seeking a grand adventure are invited to sail around the world with CMV to experience a number of true wish-list destinations and landmarks at very competitive early-booking fares.

“We have seen a resurgence in travellers wanting to experience the romance of a classic grand ocean voyage,” says Dean Brazier, Managing Director of CMV Australia.

“With more travellers wanting to visit exotic destinations that are hard to reach by air or by road, our traditional, boutique ships give guests access to smaller ports and are perfect for journeying around the world in comfort and safety.”

The series of grand voyages on offer for 2020/21 means guests can explore Australia and the world on one of CMV’s small to mid-sized ships. The new itineraries showcase some of the most desirable destinations and regions in the world including Asia, Africa and South America, and with highlights of Machu Picchu and the Amazon River in South America, the Great Wall of China and the wildlife-laden plains of South Africa.

Darren Chigwidden, National Sales Manager of CMV Australia and New Zealand, notes how travel agent partners can benefit from the new itineraries on offer.

“Our World Cruises and Grand Voyages are very competitively priced to entice your clients to book an extended voyage again or for the first time, while you still earn lucrative commissions,” says Darren.

“With our Agent Pre-Sale from 10th of June, we are thrilled to offer our agents the first opportunity to offer an exclusive 50% discount to clients in their databases who are new to CMV.”

Travel agents can access these early booking specials for their clients from 10 June during the exclusive Travel Agent Pre-Sale using promo code LOYALTY2021.

Round-the-World with CMV: 120-Night Grand World Voyage

Guests taking the full 120-night Grand World Cruise can set sail on board Columbus from London (Tilbury) in January 2021 and return in May after visiting more than 38 destinations across 24 countries. This includesovernight stays in Papeete, Sydney, Mombasa (Kenya) and Cape Town. Back by popular demand are CMV’s extended stays, giving guests more time to explore ashore in Colon (for Panama City), Tonga, Auckland, Airlie Beach, Singapore, Phuket and Colombo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and Casablanca (for Marrakech).

Rather than travelling via the Suez Canal as CMV has previously done, this voyage will sail around the tip of South Africa, giving guests the opportunity to take a wildlife safari out of Cape Town or visit the white sandy beaches of Mombasa in Kenya.
