The ending of this year’s Rendezvous Canada was celebrated by a fantastic Canadian party at the Toronto Event Centre.
The four seasons themed shindig had everyone on their feet enjoying the band whilst watching the Toronto Raptors win their match to proceed to the NBA finals.
Hosted by Destination Ontario and Tourism Toronto RVC 2019 has had a record breaking attendance of over 1900 delegates and remains Canada’s premier tourism marketplace.
The Australian buyers here have had three busy days taking in the massive array of tourism products and destinations on offer.
Caroline Brunel from The Entire Group told Traveltalk that it’s been a great opportunity to put faces to the names of people she’s been dealing with but more importantly the event gave her a chance to seek out new and interesting products.
“Australians will do their bucket list destinations, mainly the west, but we need to broaden their horizons...plant a seed in their minds and ask, ‘What about Quebec, Nova Scotia or even Newfoundland’.”
“I was very impressed with the whole Manitoba area, Churchill etc,” Brunel added.
“Finding a little cabin in a remote area and building this into one of our itineraries - that’s what makes coming here worth it.”
Here’s to Quebec in 2020!
