Exploring the archipelago on board Quasar Expedition’s M/V Evolution, the group was hosted by Eric Andrews from Quasar Expeditions and Rob Gurr from Ynot Concepts.
After a couple of adventure and culture-filled days in Ecuador’s capital, Quito, the group embarked on a week-long itinerary around the Galapagos Islands.
While exploring the islands and observing wildlife on foot, by kayaks and on panga rides, the group also mingled with the local wildlife including turtles, seals and sharks.
The first-hand opportunity allowed the group to both experience and understand the uniqueness of islands’ thriving eco-system along with the conservations efforts being implemented to protect the region.
On and off board the award-winning 16-cabin vessel, the group treated to world-class service provided by the Quasar team, the very same service that won the company the title of ‘World’s Best Small-Ship Ocean Cruise Line’ by Travel + Leisure two years in a row.
Participating agents included Pauline Stavrakis from Abercombie & Kent, Savio Pereira from The Travel Specialists, Brendan Murphy from Latitude 33, and Ushi Grant from Travel Projects.
