The new Outrigger resort


Outrigger Hospitality Group to Acquire Hawai‘i Island Resort

Premium beach resort brand, Outrigger Hospitality Group has announced that it has signed a purchase and sale agreement to acquire ownership of Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay, a 509-room property in a prime oceanfront location on the Island of Hawaii.

The transaction is expected to close in mid-April 2020, at which time the property will be rebranded as an Outrigger Resort.


1 Hotels Princeville Resort

SH Hotels & Resorts, a subsidiary of private investment firm Starwood Capital Group, has announced that Princeville Resort in Kauai will temporarily close on 1 May to undergo a multimillion-dollar complete transformation.

Starwood Capital acquired the Princeville Resort in 2018 with the intention of repositioning the resort as the finest wellness resort in the United States and as the flagship of its 1 Hotels, the sustainable, environmental focused, growing global brand.


Four Seasons Resort Lana‘i


Four Seasons Resort Lana‘i Named #1 Hotel in The United States

Four Seasons Resort Lanai has been named Best Hotel in the USA by U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in rankings and consumer advice. 

The 10th annual Best Hotels rankings evaluated more than 30,000 luxury properties across 400-plus destinations in the United States, Europe, Bermuda, Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.


Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection opens on island of Hawai‘i

After closing in October 2018, Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection re-opened in January 2020 as the first hotel for the luxury group in Hawai‘i.


Ka‘anapali Beach Hotel Announces Renovation 

Ka‘anapali Beach Hotel, arguably Hawaii’s most Hawaiian Hotel, announces the launch of the “Kealaula” project to further enhance the establishment of Hawaiian culture throughout the revered property.
