New Caledonia Tourism (NCTPS) hosted an experiential booth at the recent Helloworld Frontliners Forum in Hobart, providing Helloworld consultants with key destination news and developments for 2018 as well as a unique virtual reality (VR) experience.
NCTPS is preferred partner of the Helloworld Frontliners Forum and was one of only 30 exhibitors at the event.
NCTPS engaged agents through their distinctive VR experience which allowed them to virtually experience the destination’s different regions and their natural beauty, its lagoon and the diverse range of outdoor and cultural activities on offer.
The NCTPS team also shared news highlights for 2018 including the 10-year anniversary of the naming of New Caledonia’s lagoon as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
NCTPS also partnered with Aircalin, New Caledonia’s international airline, to provide a prize for one lucky agent to experience the destination firsthand: two return flights with Aircalin and two nights’ accommodation at Hotel Le Lagon in Nouméa. Kym Stracey from Northshore Travel in Gordon was the recipient of the prize.
With Nouméa only two hours from Brisbane, under three hours from Sydney and less than four hours from Melbourne, New Caledonia is fast becoming a destination where travellers can have it all. For further information visit: www.newcaledonia.travel/au.
