It’s the show that spawned a haircut and the sad realisation that your real friends were never going to be as perfectly timed or perfectly groomed as those incestuous New Yorkers who danced about in a fountain twenty years ago.
And nothing better described their near-perfect New Yorker lives than spending a good portion of their time in a coffee shop, cutely named Central Perk.
In celebration of the twenty years since Friends made it to our screens, from now until 18 October, you (and your mates) can check out the Central Perk pop up café on 199 Lafayette street in SoHo.
You’ll be able to sit on the couch (if you can pry others off of it), down some coffee, watch old episodes and shop up a storm of Friends merchandise.
Who knows, there may be a Seinfeld crossover…
