Filipinos love to laugh – even at themselves, so when the Philippine Department of Tourism decided to let the Philippine people have a go at marketing their nation to the world it comes as little surprise that the resulting award-winning campaign was not only effective, but hilarious.
Providing its people with the tools (the fonts and some images), the Philippine Department of Tourism let people run wild. And they did.
