Why did you take up the role at Dreamworld?
Dreamworld has been an Australian icon for many years and the chance to be a part of a variety of entertainment offerings - from the Dreamworld mascots Kenny and Belinda, DreamWorks experience and ABC Kids to the wildlife presentations and cultural demonstrations - was an opportunity not to be missed.
Tell us something people might not know about the company
We have six industrial washing machines that launder all of Dreamworld and Skypoint’s staff uniforms and entertainment costumes on a daily basis.
Tell us one thing that’s coming up at Dreamworld that’s got you really excited
The expansion of entertainment offerings, with events like Winterfest and Halloween becoming permanent fixtures on the Dreamworld calendar as well as incredible external shows like Fun House.
What makes a successful theme park?
Incredible staff who enjoy working in a fun environment … and rollercoasters!
What’s your top tip for Dreamworld or any theme park?
Allow plenty of time to not only go on all of the rides but check out the incredible entertainment offerings and get photos with your favourite characters.
What’s one travel experience that really stands out?
I always loved the island of St Maarten - Dutch and French influences means great food - and as it is in the Caribbean, there are lots of beaches and sunshine!
