Brand USA has teamed up with American Airlines to launch a unique Australia and New Zealand travel agent competition, offering the chance for one lucky winner to secure a $10,000 multi-destination trip to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New Orleans.
Designed to grow agents’ knowledge of the diversity of USA destinations beyond the gateways as well as drive awareness of the American Airlines’ multi-city air pass, it’s 787-9 Dreamliner and Premium Economy product, the online competition asks travel agents to share their idea of a three-week dream USA itinerary. Entrants will be asked to share the reasoning behind each choice of destination, accommodation and activity, with their choices being judged on accuracy, creativity and ingenuity.
Five finalists will be invited to an event in Sydney, bringing with them their packed suitcases and a travel buddy as they compete to be named the overall winner. The individual claiming the top prize will be whisked away the following day – with a friend - to experience an Airlines’ 787-9 Dreamliner flight, heading for a dream itinerary spanning Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New Orleans. The four runners up will also receive return Premium economy flights from SYD-LAX, to be redeemed before March 2019.
