Australia’s first Hyde lifestyle hotel is coming to Perth next year

Rooted in the Los Angeles nightclub scene of the early 2000’s, the Hyde brand has expanded across the globe, with Australia next.

Hyde Perth's rooftop pool will become one of the city's hottest party venues.

There will be a new name on Australia’s hotel scene when the first Hyde property opens here next year, part of the Ennismore family of brands.

Hyde Perth will house 120 bohemian chic rooms, destination restaurants and a curated pool scene delivering a beach club ambience.

Drawing inspiration from Western Australia’s rich palette of colours and influences, the hotel will be designed to create connection, with sofas in the lobby and long tables that encourage conversation.

With roots in the Los Angeles club scene of the early 2000s, the Hyde brand is synonymous with intimate music and nightlife. Hyde is part of the lifestyle hospitality company, Ennismore, which has 17 brands covering more than 135 hotels and resorts worldwide.

“Tourism WA is excited to welcome this new premium accommodation offering, which will reflect Perth’s cosmopolitan urban culture and create an unforgettable visitor experience for Western Australians and travellers to enjoy,” said Tourism Western Australia Managing Director, Carolyn Turnbull.

Located on Pier Street in the heart of the CBD, Hyde Perth will offer a new take on music, dining and drinks, creating a space where guests can enjoy the pool by day and revel by night.

The hotel’s dedicated entertainment spaces will feature a program of music and live performances in keeping with Hyde’s festival vibe. The restaurant will also draw on the freshest Western Australian produce to deliver a lively dining experience that evolves throughout the day, including a trend-setting bar with innovative cocktails.

“We believe Hyde is an ideal cultural fit for Perth, where it can serve as a cultural touchpoint for locals and international travellers,” said Ennismore Co-CEO, Gaurav Bhushan.

Hyde Perth will join a global network in destinations including Miami, Dubai and Ibiza, with future network additions coming to Queenstown, London and Bodrum in Türkiye.
