The more recent round of renos included the resort’s popular family pool view rooms. This room type has direct access to the garden and pool via an outdoor terrace enabling kids to run freely outside.
Sleeping up to five people, the rooms now features two spacious sleeping areas – separated by sliding doors with black out roller shutters, one has a king-sized bed while the other has a bunk and trundle bed. Each area has been refreshed with a clean modern look complemented by colourful artwork, two TVs with DVD players and elegant soft furnishings.
The remodelled Café Piazza has a refreshing, colonial-style design with a blue-tiled water feature as its centerpiece, blue ceramic tabletops, white chairs and potted parlour palms adding to the tropical atmosphere.
A new fan-cooled lounge area features deep cane sofas and chairs and provides guests with a comfortable space to relax in while enjoying barista-prepared coffee. Alternatively, they can enjoy the extended wooden terrace with its views over the Balinese ponds, stone-carved waterspouts and bale pavilions.
Open from 8am daily, the café’s operating hours have been extended to 10pm to include dinner service.
The upgrades also included the retiling of the broad stone terrace around the main swimming pool, elevating the sunbathing area and alfresco evening event space.
Finally, the Kertagosa meeting room and ballroom has also been revamped and now boasts a fresh new look.
“The recent renovation re-affirms our commitment to be the premier resort for families and leisure in the heart of South Kuta Beach,” said Bali Dynasty Resort General Manager, Robert Kelsall.
“Each year we strive to make more and more improvements to ensure enhanced experience for our valued guests while still offering the same great value money they are accustomed to.”
