Where is the last place you travelled and where are you going next?
I spent Christmas in the Murcia region in south-east Spain, with my sister and family. It was a wonderful experience, particularly as I love tapas accompanied by a robust vino tinto. I am excited to be heading off to Uluru for Easter.
Besides your passport, what’s one thing you always take with you on your travels?
I take a good book to read for the journey. I just finished The Testaments by Margaret Atwood, it was fabulous and I couldn’t put it down.
Why did you take up the role at Accor?
The travel and tourism industry is a wonderful place to be, more so when you get the opportunity to work for a portfolio of world-class brands. I feel very privileged to work alongside talented industry trailblazers like Simon McGrath and Renae Trimble. I learn something new from them everyday and I love it.
Tell us something people might not know about the company?
There are many benefits behind the scenes at Accor; the flexibility, diversity and inclusivity of the culture are second to none.
What excites you most about this role at Accor?
I’m thrilled to get the chance to showcase to the world the best hotels in the best locations around the Pacific region. I also have a really passionate and smart communications team, I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.
