Hotel Indigo ready to open third Australian property in Melbourne

The boutique brand will welcome guests from the middle of the year.

Hotel Indigo Melbourne will feature 216 rooms and suites.

Melbourne will become home later this year to Australia’s third Hotel Indigo with the brand set to take over an existing property in the city’s CBD.

Following the recent acquisition of the Flinders Lane Hotel by hospitality real estate group Pro-invest, Hotel Indigo Melbourne on Flinders will welcome guests for the first time from the middle of 2023.

After a $20 million refurbishment, the property will feature 216 rooms and a street level Spanish themed restaurant, a bar and meeting space for up to 200 people.

A street-side Spanish tapas restaurant will add to Melbourne's eclectic dining scene.

As one of the boutique lifestyle brands within the IHG Hotels and Resorts stable, each Hotel Indigo draws inspiration from its surroundings which is then replicated in the form of interior artworks and dining menus.

The guest experience at Hotel Indigo Melbourne on Flinders is set to be curated from the vibrant energy of the Flinders Lane precinct and its eclectic art, dining and shopping culture.
