Hotel unveils $30m refurb

City property set to open

The $30 million refurbishment of a major city hotel is about to be unveiled to Aussie travellers.

Family-owned Amora Group is set to reveal the extensive work on its third Australian hotel as part of its strategic expansion and investment in the region.

Opening in December, Amora Brisbane features 296 rooms across its 14 floors and has been thoughtfully designed by leading interior designer Cottee Parker.

The hotel combines tradition and modernity and is inspired by themes of wellness with natural organic tones, an abundance of greenery and plants and radiant natural lighting.

The well-situated hotel features various room types with its premier rooms and suites providing a vista of the Brisbane skyline.

Guests can enjoy newly renovated conference and event spaces, an outdoor rooftop pool and deck with an adjacent fitness studio and sauna.

“We’re devoted to curating a hospitable space that pairs the warmth of home comforts with the novelty of luxuries and indulgence,” said Narej Farik, Group Director Commercial and Business Development of Amora Hotels & Resorts.

The Amora Group consists of six properties operating in Thailand and Australia, including Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne, Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney and now Amora Hotel Brisbane.

The group began in Australia more than 25 years ago with its first accommodation investment, Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne.
