Inside New York’s newest ‘resort’

Legoland New York has just recently put the final brightly-coloured block on its new resort, with seven themed lands to explore and a 250-room hotel.

Just last month the AUD$535-million-dollar project, comprising 520 acres and 50 rides, swung open its gates.

Lego fans can finally feel what it’s like to be a Lego Minifigure aboard the Factory Adventure Ride as they’re magically shrunk and taken on a whimsical 'brick's eye view' tour, or for those wanting to get the heart rate up, The Dragon roller coaster is for you.

Keep the adventure alive and overnight at the Legoland Hotel with themed rooms such as pirates or ninjas, as well as in-room treasure hunts and character meet-and-greets.

Located in the Orange County village of Goshen, this opening not only marks the first new theme park in the Northeast United States in forty years but is also an exciting sign of relief for the state’s tourism industry.
