NOW OPEN: Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel Tokyu

Shibuya’s new hotel celebrates region’s unique culture

Located in the Shibuya Stream complex which is part mall, part exhibition space, the Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel Tokyu is bringing the Shibuya sensibility to its guests.

Shibuya has long been regarded as the center of fashion and culture, the place where new ideas and trends are adopted and integrated into its own distinctive culture and creativity. Tokyu Hotel’s new hotel is inspired by this unique culture and have incorporated it into the hotel’s design.

The front desk, lobby, lounge, bar and dining areas are all located on the 4th floor with guest rooms occupying the 9th to 13th floors, with a total of 177 guest rooms.

LOBBY/LOUNGE

The flow of the 4th floor area from the front desk to the bar and dining area creates a cozy communal space for socialising and inspiring creativity for our guests. The lobby and lounge are set up as a communal space for guests and visitors to the Shibuya Stream. The expansive space encourages socialisation and communication.

BAR & DINING ‘TORRENT’

The hotel’s dining and bar options further integrates the stream concept and offers guests stimulating options in food and drink.

At the bar, guests can enjoy drinks with music, movies and images on the big screen in the wide and open spacious atmosphere.

The hotel’s chef has trained in France and has a career in numerous three-star restaurants incorporating Japanese influences in stylish dishes.

GUEST ROOMS

Guest room designs incorporate a vintage modern style, creating a space that is fashionable and relaxing yet functional. The carefully selected furniture mimics the trendy apparel shops that guests can find throughout the cultural fashion mecca that is Shibuya.
