Oaks Hotels crosses the country to make its debut in Perth

The Australian brand’s self-contained style of accommodation is finally coming to the west coast.

Oaks Hotel Perth will feature 190 studio hotel rooms with kitchenette.

Self-contained apartment accommodation provider Oaks Hotels will make its long-awaited debut in Perth later this month when it opens its first property in Western Australia.

The brand, which exists primarily on the east coast across its Australian portfolio of 54 properties, also operates hotels in New Zealand, India, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates but until now, has never managed a property in Perth.

The new Oaks Hotel Perth, opening on 18 August, will feature 190 self-contained studio rooms with a fully equipped kitchenette, work desk and Foxtel connected TV, with some rooms featuring a view over the city.

Facilities open to guests and the public include the 45-seat Oak & Vine restaurant open for breakfast and dinner daily, along with room service orders, two conference and meeting rooms which when combined can host up to 120 people cocktail style.

“We are excited to introduce our Oaks brand to the Perth market to cater for both business travellers and increasing tourist numbers, and to expand our property footprint to the Australian West Coast,” said Craig Hooley, Chief Operating Officer for Minor Hotels Australia and New Zealand - parent brand for Oaks Hotels.

“Perth is a vibrant city with a raft of major events on its calendar, and Oaks Perth Hotel is ideally situated in the heart of all the action.”
