WIN an Australia Day long weekend ... in Hawaii!

Outrigger is sending Aussies on a free long weekend

Australians love Hawaii and Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort loves them right back, with one in four in-house guests coming from the land “Down Under” to experience the hospitality of Hawaii’s premier beach resort.

The property is embracing the upcoming national holiday, Australia Day, by holding its inaugural Australia Day event at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. Partnering with iconic beachfront restaurant, Duke’s Waikiki, the day promises fun Australia Day activities for those already staying at Outrigger and for Australians holidaying in Waikiki over January 26, 2020.

The event will begin at 11am on Duke’s deck, there will be an Australian band to play celebrated favourites and have some favourite Aussie Day games such as “thong” tossing.  All Australians attending with a valid passport or drivers license will receive a complimentary Australian beer and a “snag” from the BBQ.  Other Australian food favourites will be available for purchase as well.

The event has been created for Outrigger to show its appreciation to its Australian guests and their continual loyalty toward the brand said general manager, Mr Revell Newton.

He added, “We are welcoming all Aussies on Oahu to come and join the festivities and show us how the locals celebrate their special day in true Australian style.”

Renowned retailer Surf Stitch has joined forces with Outrigger and Hawaiian Airlines to offer Australians a chance to attend the event with a “Win a Long Weekend to Waikiki” competition.

Simply provide the most creative answer, in 25 words or less, to the question, “What is the first thing you’d do, once you get off the plane in Hawaii?” for the chance to win a trip for two, including two return economy airfares from either Sydney, NSW or Brisbane, QLD, to Waikiki on Hawaiian Airlines departing Sydney or Brisbane on 25/01/2020 and departing Honolulu, USA, on 29/01/2020; four nights accommodation at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort in a Partial Ocean View Room with premium Voyager 47 Club Lounge access (check in on 25/01/2020 and check out on 29/01/2020); and an invitation to participate in Australia Day activities in Hawaii at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort. Entries close at 11:59pm AEDST on January 9, 2020.
