The sought-after scholarship offers the winner prizes valued at $35,000, including a range of experiences such as Qantas business class travel to an industry conference of the winner’s choosing within the Asia-Pacific region. The winner will also receive professional coaching and profiling for one year from Right Path as well as training opportunities and Cruise 365 Conference tickets courtesy of Cruise Lines International Association Australasia (CLIAA).

The Avis Travel Agent Scholarship application process is designed to be rigorous, transparent and impartial. They are required to answer a series of questions about how they meet the criteria in the most creative way, before submitting their responses in any format including PowerPoint or video.

“We’re incredibly proud and excited to launch the 23rd year of the Avis Travel Agent Scholarship programme,” said Tom Mooney, Managing Director – Pacific, Avis Budget Group.

“The scholarship continues to grow and set industry standards of exceptional innovation and customer service.
