Australian tourist dies in Bali after cliff jump

WA man dies after suspected cardiac arrest

What should have been a relaxing Bali getaway has ended in tragedy after a Western Australian tourist died following a cliff jump.

Justin Jordanoff, 44, had leapt from a diving board at popular Mahana Point in Nusa Ceningan last Friday before making his way to nearby Blue Lagoon beach.

But after complaining of being dizzy and hot, the Busselton man lost consciousness.

A friend rushed him to a nearby hospital, however he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The cause of death has yet to be confirmed, but Mr Jordanoff’s family believe he died from cardiac arrest.

“The local Balinese doctor believes Justin suffered a heart attack due to strenuous swimming against a rip in the ocean,” the family told Nine News

“He was fine after getting out of the water but half an hour later had the heart attack.”

While the WA man’s family have travelled to Bali to deal with the incident.
