Eurail announces free first class upgrades


Eurail customers planning to travel in European spring (Australian autumn) are in for a treat as the popular rail pass announced overnight that they will offer 1st class upgrades for free on 2nd class Global Passes purchased before 28 February 2019.

 

Travellers planning to visit Europe between now and 15 May 2019 will be able to enjoy the full luxuries of 1st class train travel for the discounted price of a 2nd class fare.

 

Perfectly suited to those who love travelling in comfort, the 1st class flexible train travel-pass at a discounted rate, comes from Eurail with love, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

 

From visiting one of the world’s largest flower gardens, Keukenhof, near Amsterdam to exploring the feria celebrations in Andalucía, Eurail’s free upgrade allows travelers to experience the impressive beauty of Europe in Spring.

 

To be eligible for the free upgrade offer, pass holders must book their Global Passes before 28 February 2019 and travel between 1 February to 15 May 2019.

 

With just one rail pass travellers of all ages have the ability to travel in and through up to 31 different European countries, and access extra benefits and discounts along their journey.

 

Most recently, Eurail expanded the list of countries accessible via the Global Pass, with the addition of FYR Macedonia, Lithuania and Great Britain now included. The price of Eurail Global Passes has also been reduced, with a permanent price reduction of up to 37% off.

 

The non-refundable offer is available to all travel agents. Agents should book via their preferred Eurail distributor.
