Globus brands pause travel until 30 April

GFOB launches “Peace of Mind” plan for affected travellers

In effect until 30 April 2020, Globus family of brands (GFOB) has announced that it will voluntarily suspend operations across all destinations due to the impact of coronavirus.

To help travellers affected by the pause, which involves brands Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways, the company has launched a new plan called Peace of Mind.

The Peace of Mind scheme gives GFOB customers booked on holidays during the suspension the ability to reschedule their travel in 2020, 2021 or 2022 “to any destination, on any brand, without incurring cancellation fees”.

It also offers travellers credit of up to $300 per person when they reschedule their plans.

“We recognise that travellers are faced with a great deal of uncertainty right now, and we are committed to helping them through this situation with the right options, adequate time and high levels of attention and consideration,” Globus family of brands managing director Australasia Gai Tyrrell said.

“We are doing our best to cater to each and every traveller and help them feel confident in their decision to explore the world with us.”
