Hong Kong Disneyland opens new ‘Frozen’ themed land

Visitors can wander through the Kingdom of Arendelle and interact with characters Anna, Elsa, Olaf and others from the popular film adventure.

Queen Anna and Elsa are waiting to see you at World of Frozen.

Hong Kong Disneyland has opened the doors to a new section of the park themed on the wildly popular Frozen animated film franchise.

World of Frozen takes park visitors to the Kingdom of Arendelle where they can meet, interact and have photos taken with Queen Anna, Elsa, Olaf and many of the other characters from the hugely popular Frozen and Frozen 2 animated films.

The park has recreated a real-world adaptation of the sisters’ hometown, featuring Arendelle Castle and the Clock Tower along with other captivating landscapes, town streets, familiar music and enchanting technology bringing the story of Frozen to life for visitors of all ages.

The Kingdom of Arendelle has been painstakingly recreated for park visitors.

The new themed land also includes a variety of food and beverage outlets with Frozen themed menu items along with retail outlets to pick up merchandise based on the movies.

“This beloved franchise will elevate Hong Kong Disneyland's global presence. We are excited to offer our guests an enchanting and immersive experience, where they can explore the captivating wonders of Arendelle,” said Hong Kong Disneyland Managing Director, Michael Moriarty.

“World of Frozen is an integral part of the park’s latest expansion and growth, and with the launch on November 20, we look forward to welcoming even more guests from around the world.”

As park guests move around Arendelle, they can enjoy two new themed attractions including Frozen Ever After, which takes guests on a boat ride adventure to the North Mountain to meet Elsa at her ice palace, while the Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs ride is a thrilling ride through the forest which features many sightings of characters from the films.
