INTERVIEW: Entire Travel Group CEO Brad McDonnell

Brad McDonnell, Chief Executive Officer, Entire Travel Group speaks to Traveltalk about ETG’s Best Specialty Wholesaler award at NTIA 2019 as well as what’s on the horizon for the company.

What is your first reaction to winning this award?

It is all about our team, who work tirelessly every day to deliver the best possible service and product for our agency partners. That’s what we’re all about – in our business we’re all about continuous improvement every day.

We’ll celebrate success off the back of this but then from there it’s all about how do we improve every day and work towards being here again next year.

How does it feel to get the award in front of the whole industry?

It’s super exciting but it’s about acknowledgement of what we do. It’s about appreciation of the effort that we make and it’s really rewarding and exciting.

You must be proud to have beaten off some stiff competition for this award?

We are extremely proud but we are more focused on what we are going to do next and how we are going to meet the expectations of travel agents.

They are growing every day but it’s a tough world out there and they need great product for their clients, the best service and good knowledge from our team.

Our consultants are the heroes of our business and we invest in them heavily as they’re the ones delivering to the travel agents. So we’ll support our staff, the agents and continue to hopefully be the best specialist wholesaler in Australia.

What next from the Entire Travel Group?

We feel as though we are building something really exciting. We’re building a great organisation and we’ve got a good model that works.

We feel as though we’ve got scope to grow the business in different ways, be it through new destinations down the track or different product lines.

We’ve built the base and the future is looking bright for us and this is a nice acknowledgement of what we’ve achieved.
