Improved connectivity and communications across Intrepid’s 26 ground offices around the world has allowed the tour operator to release hundreds of new departures to meet insatiable demand around the world.

Travellers eager to tick Morocco off their bucket list are now in the best position, with Intrepid adding a massive 193 new departures and 2,500 seats in the past few months of its eight-day ‘Morocco Women’s Expedition’ and ‘Morocco Family Holiday’ itineraries.

This is in response to a 474% increase in arrivals to the North African nation as tourists discover the rich cultural corner of the continent.

Still in Africa, Intrepid’s range of 21 itineraries in Egypt and Jordan have also been significantly expanded, with 93 new trips in Egypt and 55 in Jordan in the past six months, with the company reporting most travellers tend to combine the destinations into one holiday with the 19-day ‘Explore Egypt and Jordan’ tour.

Further north in Europe, Intrepid’s local offices have collaborated to add 868 new seats across 70 departures, with the past six weeks seeing the company record its highest-ever increase in demand for Portugal, Greece, Italy and Iceland, with demand also remaining consistently strong in France.

Closer to home, Intrepid’s 13 itineraries in Japan have been selling well, leading the company to add 47 new departures and 200 seats across its range, including the 12-day ‘Premium Japan’ and ‘Japan Real Food Adventure’.

Intrepid Travel said the new departures will strive to meet demand in destinations experiencing high levels of interest but where supply hasn’t yet caught up.

“By leaning into and having a greater on-the-ground presence in popular destinations, Intrepid can bring more travellers on their bucket-list journeys, while helping to sustain the growth of responsible tourism, centring local communities to harness travel as a force for good,” Intrepid said.
