Join 'A New Tomorrow: Bali Covid-19 Safety Update' and you could win

Bali’s reopening and when it might happen is the question many want answered. Next Wednesday Wonderful Indonesia will host a travel industry webinar to inform travel agents about planning for Indonesia’s “New Normal”, new national safety protocols and a pilot project for a safe corridor into Bali. 



The senior level of speakers reflects the importance of the Australian travel market to Indonesia and includes:

  • Mrs. Nia Niscaya, Deputy Minister for Marketing, the Ministry of Tourism and  Creative Economy of the Republic Indonesia who will provide an update on Indonesia’s “New Normal”,
  • Mr. Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardha, Vice Governor of Bali, Bali Provincial Government who will share Bali Government’s safety planning,
  • Mr. Ngurah Wirawan, Director of Construction & Operations Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Nusa Dua,  Bali.  ITDC is an Indonesian state-owned enterprise responsible for developing and operating the five-star complex: the Nusa Dua, in Bali.  This area is being proposed as a Covid-safe pilot project. 
  • Ms. Janet DeNeefe, Founder & Director Ubud Food Festival and Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, owner Casa Luna Group. Based in Ubud, Bali, Janet will provide an on the ground update.


The panel will be moderated by Miriam Tulevski, Country Manager, Visit Indonesia Tourism Office, Sydney. The session will end with a question and answer session and a door prize.


This event is part of an International Webinar Series on Indonesian tourism being implemented now across Asia and Europe by the Ministry of Tourism and  Creative Economy of the Republic Indonesia. 


The purpose of the events is to keep industry informed of Indonesia’s planning and implementation of Cleanliness, Health and Safety protocols and maintain connections with industry while Indonesia waits for borders to reopen.
