Searoad Ferries to give away $1m in tickets

The competition every Victorian needs to enter

In recognition of the hard yards put in by Victorians during lockdown, Searoad Ferries is saying thank you in a big way with $1 million worth of tickets being given away.

Victorians are encouraged to reward themselves with a relaxing sail across the bay and a visit to the seaside towns of Queenscliff and Sorrento by registering for a free return foot passenger ticket aboard Searoad Ferries. Victorians can pick any day, from November 23 to travel – there are tickets for every day until 31 July 2021.

Registration will open Wednesday 18 November and runs through until 5pm on the Sunday 22 of November. To register for a free ferry ticket, please visit www.freeferrytickets.com.au

With 38,484 tickets up for grabs, Searoad Ferries wants to offer Victorians the chance to enjoy the moment again – seeing a dolphin, watching the changing water, bumping into an old friend or gazing at the coastline – and feel a world away from the challenges this year has brought.

According to Searoad Ferries CEO Matt McDonald, the giveaway came from desire to get Victorians out of their homes and recapturing the beauty of Port Phillip Bay, while understanding that many have being doing it tough financially.

“We are a family owned business and we know how hard it has been for Victorians – a free ticket, the beauty of the bay and some fresh air is something we would love Victorians to experience.

“We want them to remember how beautiful our state really is and what better way to do it than with some sea air, beautiful views and time with family and friends.” Said McDonald.

Victorians are eligible for one free ticket per person and tickets are available to be booked for travel on each day from 23 November 2020 to 31 July 2021.

Searoad Ferries are encouraging Victorians to pick a day, share the link with family and friends, grab their ticket and make the most of a trip on Port Phillip Bay.
