Singapore unveils multi-million dollar content fund


STB announces S$2m fund for content creators to share their Singapore stories

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has launched the SG Stories Content Funda SG$2 million (AU$2.2 million) grant to encourage and support local and international content creators to create and share compelling stories of strength, resilience, solidarity and unity in Singapore.

 

 

Content creators in the areas of production, media, tourism, digital marketing, influencer marketing and more are eligible and urged to apply, with applicants able to enter as an individual or registered company.

 

The fund will support 90 per cent of qualifying costs, capped at S$150,000 (around AU$165,000) per project including: 

  • Creative development and conceptualisation

  • Production and execution

  • Marketing and distribution. 

 

Applications close on 31 May 2020. All filming activities must adhere to prevailing safe distancing measures. For more information and to apply, click here and check out the helpful infographic with key details (bottom).

 

 

In other Singapore news, STB has released a number of virtual backgrounds for users to during their next meeting or personal catch up.

 

The themed backgrounds feature 12 iconic locations and attractions around the Lion City, including Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay, Merlion Park and Jewel Changi Airport. Choose from a mix of images as well as videos, which will make you feel like you are right there.
