To coincide with the launch of its 2019-2020 brochures, Tempo Holidays is offering the travel trade a bonus five percent commission on bookings.
Speaking to Traveltalk at the company’s brochure launch in Melbourne, Tempo Holidays Head of Sales Michael Stephenson said the commission would be applied to bookings made on all brochured Tempo products in the month of September.
The turnout for the launch in Melbourne - its home base - was a big one, with over 50 agents in attendance as well as airline and accommodation suppliers.
And the brochures - led by the massive, 234-page Southern Europe offering - are huge, with a host of new and tried and true products available.
Authentic, local experiences form an integral part of Tempo’s new programs, says Tempo’s Head of Product Sue Barreau at the event. From the week-long ‘Living the Tuscany Dream’ tour, where you help farm your own food, to painting lessons in Provence and cooking classes in Cairo, there are plenty of those.
But there are also party trips to Spanish islands, Greek Isles family tours and journeys to hidden gems like France’s Dordogne region, among countless more.
Mr Stephenson said Tempo distinguishes itself from its ‘generic’ competition by being more bespoke. Whether its clients want luxury, tent or igloo, Tempo can source it, he boasted.
The brand could also leverage its position under the umbrella of the world’s oldest travel company, Cox and Kings.
As well as grabbing a sneak peek of its new brochures, a number of attendees scored prizes including accommodation and ground packages in India, Egypt, Croatia and more.
