The Travel Junction hits the American highways with Brand USA

The wholesaler’s new tie-up with America’s key inbound tourism partner will make bookings easier for advisors.

The Travel Junction has launched 12 new self-drive USA itineraries.

Twelve individual itineraries designed to inspire travellers to convert to booking have been launched by The Travel Junction in a new partnership with Brand USA.

The dozen-strong self-drive suggested itineraries can be fully customised and upgraded to suit travellers with changes to the type of car rented, length of stay, accommodation and more.

One such package is the 10-night/11-day ‘Iconic Cities and Beyond’ which includes 11 days of car hire, picking up in Boston and dropping off in Washington D.C. The itinerary features two nights in Boston, three in New York City, two in Philadelphia and three in the U.S. capital, with a variety of Go City passes and tours throughout, priced from $2,869 per person twin share land only.

The Statue of Liberty can be enjoyed with a New York City Go City Pass.

On the other side of the country, travellers may be tempted by the six-day ‘Giant Trees and Ancient Forests’ package, which features six days of car hire, picking up and dropping off in San Francisco.

Along with the car, the rapid-fire tour includes one night accommodation in each of Fog City, the Lassen Volcanic Park, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite, before one final night back in the City by the Bay, all priced from $1,699 per person twin share land only.

Packaged itineraries, each complete with their own HELiO code for easy building on The Travel Junction’s easy-to-use online reservations tool, are also available for travellers to explore Alaska, California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, New England, the Great Lakes, Rocky Mountains, the Pacific Northwest, Chicago and Wisconsin.

Itineraries can be booked either through HELiO or via The Travel Junction's new trade phone reservations service.

The Travel Junction Global Sales Director, Kevin Looney, said that with the USA being the company’s top-selling destination, partnering with Brand USA was a natural fit.

“This collaboration enables us to educate our trade partners about the breadth of experiences across the USA and make it easy for them to fulfill their client’s travel needs,” Looney said.

“Our self-drive routes have been created in partnership with Brand USA and span the entire United States, encompassing breathtaking national parks, iconic cities, and quirky towns.

“The exciting announcement of our partnership with Brand USA comes ‘hot on the heels’ of The Travel Junction launching its Australian-based phone reservation sales team at the beginning of May.

“With this new service, we can now give advisors the choice to book via our HELiO platform or to speak with our phone sales team to access expert product knowledge and assistance with more complex itinerary builds.”
