Traveltalk asks: What’s on top of your Christmas Wishlist?

Stuck for Christmas gift ideas? Traveltalk has asked some industry folk what’s on their Christmas Wishlists this year.

LONELY PLANET’S CHRIS ZEIHER hopes he’s made Santa’s nice list because he’s planning on exploring more of Victoria's beautiful waterways in the new year. Currently obsessed with the perspective you get when you're looking at the natural surrounds from the water, a kayak is on the top of his list.

An American working with TRAVELTALK’S MARK HARADA in a cafe in Ireland 18 years ago introduced him to Wilco. It’s been true love ever since. So, for Christmas he wants Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy’s autobiography and accompanying album.

To cut down the last mile of his daily commute to the office, TRIPFUSER’S MATT BEARD would like a Micro Scooter which he thinks will be a great way to clear his head before work. But he also has his eye on the SoundSport Free wireless headphones which will be great for travel or exercise.

TRAVELTALK’S JON UNDERWOOD wants an England rugby shirt so he can be appropriately attired when they win the Rugby World Cup in Japan next year and a box of wine from the Marlborough region of New Zealand because anything from Marlborough is fantastic.

TMS TALENT’S Susan Chand has asked Santa for a new paddle board (because her current one is in need of a little love) and a dining experience (with babysitters included) at her favourite restaurant, La Tratt.

Having missed out on 2018’s The Lost Lands because she was on a family holiday, TRAVELTALK’S GAYA AVERY wants tickets to family friendly festivals, Dashville Skyline or Sydney City Limits.

AFTA’S JAYSON WESTBURY would rather friends and family donate to drought relief charities, but when pressed for something for himself, has had his eye on a pair of Stan Smith sand shoes.

To make it through the inevitable travel delays, TRAVELTALK’S JENNY ROWLAND would like Graham Norton’s latest book. Though a bottle of Hendricks gin or tickets to Glastonbury Festival wouldn’t go astray either!
