VIDEO: woman tries to kidnap children at airport

Scary incident a reminder to remain vigilant when travelling with kids

Two parents were forced to fight off a woman who was allegedly trying to kidnap their children at the world’s busiest airport in the United States.

According to local police, Esther Daniels tried to grab the stroller the mother’s youngest child was in as the unsuspecting parent was walking down an atrium with her two kids at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, USA Today reported.

CCTV shows Daniels struggling with the mother over the stroller until the husband arrives, at which point the 26-year-old grabs the other child and starts to walk away. The parents fight with Daniels until police arrive.

According to authorities, the accused ran back towards the family as police spoke with her.

She was finally restrained with two pairs of handcuffs and a wheelchair, and now faces charges of kidnapping and obstructing an officer.

No one was injured in the incident.
