New research from William Russell has revealed the most and least stressed cities in the world. The study took into account factors such as city cleanliness, financial stress, LGBTQ+ safety and suicide rates.
Three of the Top 10 least stressed cities in the world are in Australia, with Brisbane ranking highest. And aside from Australia, the rest of the Top 10 least stressed cities are in the northern hemisphere.
The least stressed city in the world is Helsinki, Finland where 0% of the population live in poverty. Helsinki also has the lowest pollution index at just 13.65 and a noise and light pollution level of just 25.21.
Finland ranked as the least stressed country in the OECD, followed by Sweden and Australia.
South Korea, Chile and the USA are the most stressed countries according to the study.
