A Sydney man on holiday in Bali has been found dead in a resort swimming pool.
Vasco Rodrigues, 27, had gone for a swim after breakfast but was discovered 90 minutes later by girlfriend, Miroslava Kubeckova, who had been in their hotel room.
Speaking to Indonesian police, Ms Kubeckova, 35, said she found Rodrigues at the bottom of the pool.
According to the ABC, police do not suspect any foul play, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is providing consular assistance.
On social media, tributes poured in for the physiotherapy graduate.
"I am in so much shock. My sincere condolences to you and your family. My thoughts are with you all," posted one man.
Elsewhere, a woman said: "It is so hard to find the words to say at a time like this, just know that your family will be on our prayers."
Australians make up 20% of the 4.6 million tourists to Bali, falling behind new largest market China.
