Exclusively available on its Airbus A330s, Air France has unveiled its new long-haul business class cabin.
To feature across 15 of its A330 aircraft by 2020, the cabin will boast 36 seats and complement the new 21 Premium Economy and 167 Economy seats, which were revealed late last year.
Among the new key features of business are two-metre long and 57cm wide lie-flat beds, 18.5 inch HD touch-screens with easier-to-use handsets and 1,400 hours of entertainment, sliding panels between seats for privacy or sharing, ambient lighting, refreshed lavatories, and a self-service bar.
All cabins onboard the new A330s will boast the carrier’s new Air France CONNECT wifi.
Currently, the new planes are being used on flights between Paris and Houston (USA), Accra (Ghana) and Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso).
But from the 2019 northern hemisphere summer, the updated Airbus will be progressively rolled out on flights to Seattle, Chicago and Dallas (USA) as well as Indian and African destinations.
