Qantas Marketplace brings all retailers under one roof for frequent flyers

Loyalty members can now earn and burn points through a redesigned online shopping experience.

Qantas has relaunched Qantas Marketplace, its online shopping hub.

Qantas has introduced a new online shopping experience bringing more than 900 retailers and 20,000 products together under one roof for members of Qantas Frequent Flyer to earn and redeem their points.

Known as Qantas Marketplace, the platform covers fashion, technology, beauty, homewares, appliances, vouchers, services and much more.

Largely a rebrand of the former Qantas Rewards store, the new Qantas Marketplace however has been boosted with a 20% increase on available brands and more than 1,000 new products available.

Members will also now earn a minimum of three points per dollar spent across the portal, up from the previous two, when paying for their purchases with credit or debit cards. There will also be a regular serve of bonus points offers to further tempt buyers.

Flyers can earn and burn points on thousands of designer items.

To celebrate the launch, Qantas Frequent Flyer is also offering a bonus three points per dollar spent on all purchases up to 30 June 2023.

Fashion labels including Scanlan Theodore, Rebecca Vallance, bassike, Jac + Jack, Viktoria & Woods, BEC + BRIDGE, Country Road and Kirrikin are among the headline brands travellers can earn and burn points by purchasing the latest designs.

For tech heads, brands such as Apple, Bose and Dyson are among those featuring on the revised platform.

Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Wirth said the airline’s Frequent Flyers already earn more points on the ground than they do through travel.

“With Qantas Marketplace, we’re connecting them to hundreds of brands that they know and love, with the added benefit of being able to earn and use points,” Wirth said.

“We know our members are always looking for more value and ways to boost their points balance, so we’ve increased the points earn rate on the platform too.

“Australia’s love of Qantas Points has seen us build strong partnerships with some of the country’s biggest brands. These connections are key to keeping our members engaged in the program and ultimately drive value for our business.”
